Life Enrichment Programming
We believe that we’re never too young, too old or too anything to try new things and have fun. Whatever your pleasure, it is our mission to create life enrichment programs that appeal to a wide variety of resident interests and abilities.
Our yearning to know and learn about what makes each of our residents tick and what fulfills them is where the discovery process begins. As part of our initial assessment, we explore each resident’s likes and dislikes, what interests them and perhaps what does not or what experiences may make them uncomfortable or uneasy. Armed with this information, our BrightStar Senior Living of Madison life enrichment team works to create experiences and programs that are varied in nature and fitting to the needs of the community. It is our commitment to provide social experiences every day with staff that is dedicated to meeting the social and personal needs of an individual.
Residents can expect to be invited each day to a variety of programs and events, typically 4-5 events a day, 7 days a week. From intergenerational programs which partner with local schools and daycares to volunteering at a local food pantry, our staff will work to fulfill the individual needs for socialization and service to and within our community. Exercise classes, musical performances and art workshops to cooking classes, community outreach, pet visits and more – our resident-driven approach to programming ensures there’s something for everyone.
What our residents and their families are saying: “From the minute I walked into BrightStar Senior Living, I knew my Mom deserved to live there… her first weeks have been filled with stimulating activities, new friendships, nourishing meals, and staff attention.”
So take a chance and try something new or partake in an activity you’ve done for years. The choice is always yours.
