Sales & Marketing Director
Waunakee & Madison
I received my early Childhood Development Degree in Boston, MA. in 1991. I moved back to Wisconsin in 1992 and received my C.N.A license while working at Central Wisconsin Center. In 1993, I began working as a C.N.A for an agency at a variety of healthcare locations. This is where I began to explore Assisted Living and have not left. I have fulfilled roles of Regional Director, Director, Manager, Sales and Marketing and Caregiver ever since. I also worked as a hospice C.N.A and private duty caregiver over the years.
What attracted you to a career supporting and caring for older adults?
Many tell me that I was born to be a caregiver. My culture strongly emphasizes how important our elders are to us. Nothing was more natural to me than to care for the elders of my family and others. I bring that passion with me everywhere I go. I enjoy connecting with our seniors and learning so much about their lives.
What makes BrightStar Senior Living unique?
BrightStar is unique in so many ways. The close-knit family feeling you get when you enter our community, the high quality compassionate care provided with personal connections and the peace of mind we can give loved ones.
What are you passionate about in your role?
I am most passionate in providing families with the best resources. I support them along in their journey and validate their feelings along the way. I want to deliver on our promise of quality care for their loved one. I am also passionate about educating the community and families on topics that will help make decisions that will make sense for them.
What brand promise do you connect with and why?
It is hard for me to pick just one. Connection is the building block for me to encompass Joy, Dignity, Individuality and Beauty of each interaction. Each interaction is individualized and person centered. The dignity of the person is respected and conversations are had about what brings them joy in their life story. I see beauty in the peace of mind and trust being built.
